Church By The Bridge

Major upgrade and rectification of existing Worship space

Value    $1,400,000

Date    2012 - 2013, 2016 - 2017

This two-staged project was particularly sensitive given the Heritage listing on the site. The design for the main Church building reversed the room to place the Main Entry at the front street and to increase room capacity. With fine veneer detailing throughout, extensive restoration of dilapidated building fabric, new AV fitout, and air-conditioning, the existing Church was vastly upgraded to suit the congregation of professionals.

Further external playground and congregation areas, replacement of the slate roof, and new glazed entries made for a more welcoming façade to the community.

The second stage attended to Hall building and interconnecting amenities. An extension to the amenities and new covered access between Church and Hall framed the Eastern end of the site, whilst internal refurbishment to the Hall provided a new Kitchen, Foyer, breakout spaces, and storage.
